The 5th biennial meeting of the CUNY Language, Society and Culture Conference

Because of disruptions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic LSC-5 is going to be rescheduled for next year, in May 2021. Abstract submission is going to be reopened. All accepted abstracts can still participate. Individual notices will be sent to everyone who already submitted one - please excuse the delay.
Location: Kingsborough Community College New Date in 2021: TBA
The LSC conference brings together scholars and students from across the CUNY colleges, with an emphasis on the participation of community colleges, to share a rich body of scholarly work in all relevant fields and encourage students to participate in scholarly research. We see this collaborative event as an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with each other's work, share knowledge with colleagues, and identify areas of common interest and/or potential research inquiries.

notifications sent within 10 days of submission.

Monday, March 30: deadline for confirmation of attendance
Friday, April 10: tentative program posted; registration opens
Sunday, April 26: registration closes
Friday, May 1: final program posted
